is a  Registered Marketing Company. We have Offices in NZ, ChiangMai & Bangkok under the name Asia Trading Post Co Ltd.  We are the marketing wing for various International companies and assist others with marketing their products. Our company has partnered with the Law Office of 29 Tanin Co Ltd in Chiangmai, & Bangkok Thailand to promote law & visa services & Asia Trading Post Co Ltd: [ Lawyer ].  All export pages belong to their respective advertisers and to the relative Export Companies that advertise with us. Our company markets for factories that we do not have ownership in and are not responsible for any advertising we perform for them on their behalf.

  Qu: ADVERTISING

We provide an effective marketing platform for companies and their products. We try to keep costs to a minimum. Compared to Trade Fairs we feel our service offers advertisers an excellent alternative to costly promotions . We have no hidden costs. All exporters ads are owned by the respective companies, factories & shops we market for and we are not responsible for any infringements of copyright, misleading information which is given to us by these respective businesses. If in doubt we do try to make sure information given for advertising purposes is correct. If wrong we will delete and instruct the Business concerned.

  Qu:  PLACING PAID ADVERTISING

We do not favor any parties and offer value for money advertising on a first come first served basis.  We currently work for 148 Thai companies & 8 overseas companies marketing their products and or services. Paid advertising will receive priority & once we reach our target of advertisers any further submitted ads will be saved & slotted as when expiry dates come up.

  Qu: EXHIBITION FAIRS

Are undoubtedly getting expensive since the advent of the internet with promoters now extracting higher stall prices & Companies who now realize it is the internet that will assist them. Even IBM pulled out of fairs in favour of other advertising promotions such as direct online marketing strategies. Thailand & Asian Companies are now looking at other media sources to access markets. This is one way that minimizes salesreps & costly advertising to access new markets.

  Qu: HOW WE DELIVER

By providing links to over 100 top Advertising sites including having our own Publishing business in Thailand-FREE. To advertise effectively you must utilize the media, not just the internet, which includes newspapers, flyers, advertising media, business cards & word of mouth to convey your message. Internet is part of this but 38% is other media sources. Now the internet has too many bad sites so the competition is great.   Qu: PAYMENTS

People are very concerned regarding paying for services that the other party may have access to their accounts at will. We do have e-commerce but we feel it is important that our customers Trust us and that they will receive the high service they expect from us in return for what they are paying for. Details of our account will be sent to you. We refund all payments less service bank charges if you are not happy or where we cannot for some unknown reason beyond out control deliver. All payments are made by TT transfer & OR L of C or Western Union. Please note cheques take 60 days to clear in Thailand. We can supply references, referees and Bank credentials and our monthly output within this website is around 5m baht. We oversee the shipping of over 12-16 FCL mixed container loads per month on average and we aim to increase this. We also hold clients monies on behalf in escrow in our law office [ www.chiangmailaw.com ]  and this has been a success and safeguard as we use top lawyers in Thailand from International to domestic and all lawyers credentials are excellent.

Qu: ARE YOU A LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY

Yes our company is fully licensed and a 3m baht registered capital Thai Company running under the name of Asia Trading Post Co Ltd, Registered in Chiangmai  in Thailand & offices in Chang Puak. We also are registered exporters and if you wish to know more please call upon your local Royal Thai Embassy to certify our affiliations. We must abide by the rules set by the Thailand Customs as we are Registered customs Card holders as well as registered with the Thailand Foreign Affairs Dept Chiangmai Thailand & EAN Thai Federation of Industries.  We are an 8 year old established company in Thailand now, in profit mode and part foreign owned.

Qu: HOW DO YOU GUARANTEE PRODUCTS WHEN WE PAY

As our company is fully licensed in Thailand we must abide by the rules set by the Thailand Customs ( we Registered Exporters) especially with exports as well as EAN the Federation of Thai Industries of which we are a  member of. It is not within our interests should we not deliver goods to our customers or for instance keep payment from our clients. We do provide money back guarantees and if you send more money for consignments that we cannot fulfill we do return that monies left over or if ongoing business will setup in our Company account at 3% interest and return when you want or use on the next consignment. We are also registered VAT tax holders and are liable under Thai laws should we not service our clients contracts. Again please seek information at your nearest Royal Thai Embassy Trade Office about our company.

Qu: SHOULD ONE BUY OFF UNREGISTERED COMPANIES?

No. You have no comeback for return of monies & you purchase at your own risk. Entirely up to you but many Internet Thai websites are not tax paying Thai Companies. Some internet websites in Thailand are brokerage fronts who are not true manufacturers with Thai Limited Companies. Please ask them for their status before paying monies over. It is illegal for foreigners in Thailand to use Internet websites as this is deemed work as well as income. If you pay and not receive your goods you have no guarantee to receive a refund or goods so only use licensed Companies for all purchases. If in doubt ask your nearest Royal Thai Embassy-Trade Dept or Commerce dept & Chamber of commerce in your country.

Qu: CAN WE PAY BY CREDIT CARD?

Yes we can facility this but the charges are much more. TT transfer is our other means of payment and works well with 4 - 7 days clearance; or telex or L of C on sight. You can use CC direct to our bank but charges are 3000 baht. However we accept Western Union next day service and very good.

Qu: WHAT OTHER WAYS TO ENSURE SAFE PAYMENT?

We have facilities whereby you can pay into an escrow account at our Law Office or down payment on certain items with balance paid when ready to ship. That means 50% deposit and the balance on shipping but please note we do levy a 500 baht TT charge for each TT remittance. When the goods are ready and shipping docs scanned and sent to you and Bill of Lading complies then final monies are released to us. On airfreight due to the airwaybill being held by us until payment we prefer full payment as if we hold and the goods arrive prior to receiving the funds we are not responsible. We only release the bill when full payment made This ensues total transparency for you and the other way is by Letter of Credit or [ LC ].  The fee is SUS200 per transaction and depending on the complexity of the transaction. Cost for Cert Of Origin 1000 baht & DHL is 1000 baht -1800 baht depending on country

Qu: WHAT IF THE PRODUCTS DO NOT ARRIVE:

We insure or you can arrange this with your consignments your end. There is a $150 limitation on seafreight cargo but we will send CIF= cost /insurance/freight costs or FOB= free on board. Insurance is levied @ 1.5% of freight cargo value. We always send tracking number of your shipment so you can follow. If we do not abide by our policies you have every right to file a complaint to your nearest Royal Thailand Embassy. It is not in our interests as we lose more than you.  We do have an honest name and good standing as a Registered Thailand exporter.

Qu: SHOULD I DO EXPORTS WITH THAI COMPANIES WHO DO NOT HAVE AN EXPORT LICENSE:

No. But again if you lose don't blame us! as we just told you.

Qu: WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE:

We insure or you can arrange this with your consignments your end. Most goods FCL if packed right do not need to be covered but again over to you. look at 1.5-2% of the value of when insuring your goods and breakables.

 Qu: THAILAND EXPORTS:

Please note some items may have quotas so find this out in your country first. Quota payments which must be made in Thailand before sending. All mail DHL, Fedex etc is now opened and copied items of clothing are now not allowed to be sent out in breach of copyright infringements. 

  Qu: IMPORTER & EXPORTER ADS

Exporters and importers can update their ads whenever they like. If no updates added within 5 months the same ads will be deleted. Please maintain up to date information.

  Qu: WHAT LINKS TO OTHER NEWS MEDIA DO YOU HAVE:

Links to news media which include the Pattaya Mail, Phuket Gazette, eThailand.com,  Bangkok Post,  sanook.com and many others including other overseas links. If you want to link to any of our sites all we ask in return is that you link our site to yours.

  Qu: WHAT GUARANTEE DO WE HAVE THAT WE CAN GET HITS:

We guarantee if you do not get a minimum of 6  prospective customers we will refund your money: Diamond Plan. 3  prospective customers for Gold. We will database your information for further prospective hits to you. ie. for Diamond Plans (9 months indexing) Gold Plans (4 months).

Qu: EXPORTING SERVICES:

We cannot guarantee shipping rates stay the same and we will change if any shipping or rates change on the spot. At the moment insurance charges are changing & we reserve the right to change quotations should this occur. Please note all quotations are given on an on the spot. USA you cannot export food or cosmetics unless the Thai Company has joined the FDA in the USA. If you send you lose the whole FCL. Check your regs in your country before you buy.

Qu: EXPORTING:

All freight forwarders offer on spot quotations which will vary if any changes to government fees or other unforseen circumstances. Again we reserve the right to change quotations with these added expenses as and when they occur. We now have the ability to book our containers direct off the shipping lines for our customers. In USA now each additional item in a FCL the price for that FCL increases.

Qu: SOURCING & QUALITY CONTROL:

For all foreigners using our services we can act as buying agents for you; source anything in Thailand for you and do the packing and shipping. We now have our packing facilities in Bangkok and we access our own FCL containers. It is vitally important to have someone oversee all your consignments and we can do this and guide you.

Qu: BUYING:

Yes we even buy on your behalf. Our charges are 15% commission on products purchased but we can find the factories and offer a better buying rate then you can find yourself. Remember time and money you save using our services.

Qu: HOW WE WORK:

We export for any foreign client and charge 15% on the stock items only. All shipping is across the board and we find the cheapest effective shipping rate for all customers; oversee each shipment; packing; transport, customs etc.. This saves you time expenses coming to Bangkok. We also source any other products and have Thai team who find for you. If wanting to come to Bangkok to meet us we require you to sign contract form with us if you wish to utilize our excellent services. We cannot show you factories eg clothing factories unless you are buying in the 10s of 1000s and we will support those who use our services. We are not a stepping stone of information to show people factory shops and do charge for this service if not wanting to use our services.

Qu: HAVING YOUR DESIGNS MADE:

We  accept samples to make on behalf of customers ONLY on receipt of 3000 baht for our time to have made & if you are serious. If you have own labels you must pay for the block first if under 600pcs for T shirts --over 600 pcs the block if free per design.  Samples are not made in one week and the makers charge one off prices which are higher than normal just like a tailor. With jeans you we need to send us samples or know exact material and full measurements to us otherwise we cannot help and we no longer assist individuals unless you are a company and want minimum orders of 500 pairs per design but any size allowed. Samples made one off will be based higher for the work involved SO PLEASE if you want to start your own label we only assist those who want bulk.

Qu: FACTORIES:

We no longer assist those who want us to take them to factories. All major factories require large volumes and are not interested in small volumes. All our catalogues are on our website and we are Internet based wholesale only no retail so do not ask us where the factories are as we cannot take anyone. In Thailand large factopries you must have invitation and volumes are normally 5000 pcs above.. 

Qu: SAMPLES AND CATALOGUES:

We no longer SEND catalogues and samples are based on our rates. Some samples we do not send & T shirts are based 4pcs @ 4000 baht including shipping. If it sounds too high then don't ask us as we are not a retail shop. All designs of what we sell are on the website. We do allow Western Union & all payment via TT to our account + 500 baht clearance fee. NO Credit cards. If you want DHL then we can quote you.

Qu: CAN YOU SUGGEST BUT NOT ARRANGE HOTEL

Yes we can SUGGEST for you to stay in a Hotel according to your budget or even a condo for 800 baht per night in Nana Soi 4 Sukhumvit which is close to everything yet peaceful and off the street. If you are worried about our credit please note we are members of various Thailand Business Associations and we credit ourselves that we stand by our Business exports and payments or money back guarantee.
